We are happy to announce the release of Qt Creator 4.5.2!
This release includes a workaround for an issue in Qt which makes Qt Creator’s summary progress bar and some other controls disappear (QTCREATORBUG-19716).
Get Qt Creator 4.5.2
The opensource version is available on the Qt download page, and you find commercially licensed packages on the Qt Account Portal. Qt Creator 4.5.2 is also available through an update in the online installer. Please post issues in our bug tracker. You can also find us on IRC on #qt-creator on chat.freenode.net, and on the Qt Creator mailing list.

Hey Eike – thank you!
Is there a changelog for this release or is it only that one fix?
Sorry, here https://codereview.qt-project.org/223059
The opacity workaround was basically the only fix.
Great! I was wondering why I started to expand progress bar.
When do we get 4.6 RC? It was planned for today too, as I saw.
Quoting from https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_Creator_Releases : “The mentioned dates are typically Tuesdays of the weeks, packages are meant to be ready by then. Actual release typically happens on Wednesday or Thursday.” ๐
Thank’s for the link to Release plan, is there also a link to find what are the planned features for next releases?
I haven’t found anything by myself on the wiki.
The installer still stucks in an endless progress bar if has local network but no internet connection…
+1 to that. Common error in all Qt product starting for more then 2 months I think.
OFFLINE installer is hanging because internet connection can not be exstablished. Who cares that this is REDICULOUS!?
+1 Why does nobody care about these bugs?
And no I will no spend my time to issue a bug!
If you (qt) are interested in the quality of your product, then you can create a bug ticket yourself
or don’t you read your user feedback?
Is there a changelog for this release? Thanks.
