J-P Nurmi is a senior software engineer at The Qt Company. He started using Qt in 2005, and became a full-time Qt developer in 2010. J-P has a long history with various Qt Quick based UI control sets, dating back to the original Qt Quick Components for Symbian and MeeGo. These days he is the maintainer of the brand new Qt Quick Controls 2 module. In his spare time, J-P enjoys renovating his house, and going for long hikes with his fluffy Siberian Huskies.
