We are happy to announce the release of Qt Creator 3.6.1.

A few crashes were fixed, as well as some issues with the Clang code model, and a few regressions that sneaked into debugging. Please check our change log for a more detailed list of bugs that were fixed in this release. We also added Qt 5.6 as an option to the QML related wizards, and added Microsoft Visual C++ Build Tools on Windows.

Our binary packages are now based on Qt 5.6.0, which was released today as well and comes packaged with Qt Creator 3.6.1.

You find the opensource version on the Qt download page, and commercially licensed packages on the Qt Account Portal. If you are evaluating Qt you can go straight to http://www.qt.io/download/. Please post issues in our bug tracker. You can also find us on IRC on #qt-creator on irc.freenode.net, and on the Qt Creator mailing list.

Note: Since the binary packages are based on Qt 5.6, Qt Creator uses QTextBrowser for viewing documentation. This can lead to layout issues with previous Qt documentation and custom styled user documentation.

The checksums are not matching. Is it only me?

Sorry, we had to update the content (an old build was accidentally uploaded), and the mirrors will take their time picking the change up.

Birdy says:

Linux build is from 4. Feb as well.

Did you upload the correct one this time?

Eike Ziller Eike Ziller says:

download.qt.io is just a front end that selects a mirror. The dates you see are from the “master” mirror, which has correct content. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to guarantee that you do not get wrong content from a mirror. You can try http://master.qt.io/official_releases/qtcreator/3.6/3.6.1/ if you get outdated content from a mirror.

How to enable Enterprise features in Qt Creator 3.6.1?

Eike Ziller Eike Ziller says:

Nothing has changed in that regard: Either get an offline installer from your Qt Account or the online installer, and enter Qt Account details that have an enterprise license.

Yong Z says:

Why the Qt Creator 3.6.1’s help style looks so pale…

I enjoy the old one,but this one, it looks strange.

Or is there a style-switcher or something?

Could the reply insert imgS?

Winner says:

Hi, I have installed QT5.6 LTS with QT Creator 3.6.1. After using for a while, I see a deficiency in creator 3.6.1 as well. For the toolbar, only QAction buttons can be added in the QT Designer, but QAction doesn’t have mousepressevent or mousereleaseevent which I want, then, I choose to add toolbutton for instead by coding. Well, If I can add toolbutton to the toolbar just like adding QAction, that will be very great, so I hope you can help improve this problem, it will be very useful for the users.
