The spring has arrived, so we took our brooms and swept the bugs from under the carpets and out of the door.

We meticulously noted down all the classes, orders, families, species, and other details of what we found and removed, which you can look up in our spring cleaning log.

Pete says:

Have the Qt Creator developers made up their mind about clangd (http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project/clang-tools-extra/trunk/clangd/) yet? Will they move to it for C/C++ support?

It is not fixed in Qt, so it is not fixed in Qt Creator.

Hi, I need the id to add C compiler to the toolchain, for cpp I found “ProjectExplorer.ToolChain.Gcc” as well may I know the id for c to make an auto detect…

Daniel says:

I’ve been quite impressed by the improvements in Creator recently, particularly in regard to performance and stability. These were issues on Mac OSX previously. The long awaited improved themes are also nice as is the exceptional LLDB visual debugger. Well done guys!

That said, I use Creator to write Objective-C code and the clang code model doesn’t seem to understand it. It correctly finds auto completion results, which is great, but proceeds to mark virtually every Objective-C symbol and language construct as a syntax error so I have to turn it off.

I suspect I might be providing the wrong flags to the code model or may be using it incorrectly but there is a severe lack of documentation available for this feature. If this could be made to work, Creator really would be exceptional.
