Michael says:

There seems to be some strange issues whereby intellisense doesn’t work for (std::shared_ptr{})->

Also, just had an issue whereby I caught an exception and in the debug (debugger), the PC jumped back to the line that threw the exception, rather than returning..

Running the same project with VS QT tools, works as expected.

1 some line that throws an exception from a library();
3 return xxx;
5 } catch (std::exception ex) {
6 std::cout << "Got Exception: " << ex.what() << std::endl;
7 return std::shared_ptr{};
8 }

PC goes to lines 1, 5, 6, 7, 1 and gets stuck there.

Is this some setting I need to turn off?

Who cares that new versions are impossible to setup? https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTIFW-1115
